Six thousand years before the end of the universe, the universe was split from the renewing energy of Ayun. Although Salesh was the arhitect behind the seperation, he had help. Meiloh and Fajun, Salesh's two closest Tabetoren companions, scramble to fill the power vacuum in the temporal plane and assume control over all races as avatars of the Star Devourer. However, all is not as it seems in the hearts of those who seek to do the will of the living forces of evil, nor will the races of the Temporal Plane bow willingly to their influence. What sacrifices are both sides willing to make in this conflict?
Shigu, one of the Tabetoren present at the schism, has been given a unique punishment for his role in the greatest crime ever committed. As a passive observer in the schism, his sentence is to both observe and partake in all pain and suffering that is experienced through the entirety of time. Follow Shigu the Chronicler as he lives the lives of many familiar faces from the full span of history in Ayun's universe, from his sentencing to the end of time itself.
